Our best friends ar those in whose presence we can be our best selves. Peter Gebhardt's friends could say, with absolute certainty, "He's my very good friend." His was an intimate and unique friendship—generously shared.
Peter's death, in September of 2007, has left a hole in the hearts of his friends and a void in the art community.
Peter exhibited widely and taught art for Cobb County Parks and Recreation (The Art Place, Mable House, and the Art Station — Big Shanty). He was active in The North Cobb Arts League, having served as president. He was a founding member of Gallery 4463 in Acworth, GA.
When asked, "What'll we all do without Peter?" Peter's beloved wife Natalie put it best. She said, "We'll take the lessons he gave us and go on."
