Williamson, James

James is a self-taught artist who finds inspiration in the building blocks of science and nature. He graduated with honors from Georgia State University in Mathematics and Information Systems. He resides in Marietta, Georgia and Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Artist Statement:
I became emotionally involved with art when, at the age of 6, I randomly won an oil painting at a Plum Nelly Art Show (the kind that was out in the woods). I continued to be influenced by the artistic talents of various family members as I was growing up. Today, I enjoy working with a variety of mediums, including photography, computer-aided design, metal, wood, canvas, fabric and acrylics.
