Sapp, Jeremy

A native of Georgia, Jeremy was an artist from an early age. He focused on art at Cass High School in Cartersville, and painted a 15'X 8' mural for the school in 2003. Jeremy won county honors for his artwork and was nominated for governor’s honors in 2002.

After the events of September 11th, 2001, Jeremy felt helpless as he watched the horrific events unfold on television. He put college and his career on hold and joined the military to serve his country. Jeremy served a total of six years in the service, with two of those years being spent in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Jeremy continued with his art while serving in his free time. As an artist he is drawn to dedication and detail in his work. He enjoys producing a variety of work including portraits, pets, seasonal paintings, tattoo designs, and illustrations. Although he is comfortable with just about any medium, oil is his medium of choice. Each painting contains a unique surface texture, which will capture any light with an astonishing effect. The textured look is difficult to capture in a photograph. “Drawing and painting is really an obsession for me. I am so happy to be able to so something I truly love.”

Currently, Jeremy is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts at Kennesaw State University.
