Kramer, Lisa

Lisa K. Kramer is an Artist, Author, and Medical Professional. She resides in Acworth, GA, is originally from a small town in the Midwest, but has traveled and lived all over the world. Lisa has been painting since she was a child; creativity was something that was encouraged from a young age. Her paintings can be highly imaginative, intellectual, and emotional all at the same time. Becoming a widow in 2007, art again became her solace, producing work as “The Darker Times.” Her passions are painting the human experience, turning pain into enlightenment, and you can see her interest in the human form, as seen in “Inside and Out,” the title of one of her paintings. Laying heart and soul on canvas would be a good way to describe her work.

Entered contest’s through Atlanta Artists Center in Jan, Feb and April of 2011: “Whimsical Affection” won an Honorable Mention in April, “Do You Think We Should Go In?” won in February, “Reality, An Ambrosial Metaphysical or Mortal Universe” won an Honorable Mention in January. “Dreams” won the Cellar 13 contest also in January.
