Paper, Elisabeth S.

Elisabeth S. Paper is an artist who lives in Saint Paul, Minnesota and enjoys the ordinary magic of family, friends, and her standard poodles, Andy and Elliot. She studied art at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design from 1973-75 has a BA from Macalester College (1981). She was a private student of the artists Bronislaw and Hedi Bak in 1980 studying printmaking and drawing and continued her studies in Intaglio Printmaking at the University of Minnesota and the Minnesota Collage of Art and Design.

"My drawings, paper cuttings and phtographs emphasize the beauty in details. Layered occasionally with humor, my art is a meditation, some are individual, others evolve into a series. The viewer is invited into a world, which I want to express or describe. It is my hope these images evoke the viewer's own personal perceptions, feelings and experiences."
