Bostar, Phillis

Phillis Bostar has had a lifelong interest in art. For the last 20 years she has been actively pursuing her chosen profession as an artist and art teacher of children and adults in the Atlanta, Kennesaw and Acworth area. She is a lifelong member of the North Cobb Arts League and served as a juror of Cobb and Cherokee Counties Reflections Art Competition.

"I love drawing with graphite and colored pencils. I have won several awards within each medium. I also love watercolors and looseness it brings. Although I have won awards for my drawings, I continue to improve my techniques and continue to seek my 'muse.' I am also expanding my creative interest to include ceramics, fiber art and linoleum prints."
